<li>Warm water: ¼ cup</li>
<li>White sugar:2 tsp plus 2 tsp</li>
<li>Vegetable oil:2 tbsp plus 2 tbsp</li>
<li>Baking powder: 1, ½ tsp</li>
<li>Salt: 1 tsp</li>
<li>Egg: ½</li>
<li>Butter, softened: 2 tbsp</li>
<li>White sugar: ¼ cup</li>
<li>Ground cinnamon: 2, ¼ tsp</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand for ten minutes.<br />
2. Heat milk in a saucepan.<br />
3. Combine milk, sugar, yeast mixture, oil, baking powder, salt, egg and half of the flour.<br />
4. Beat the mixture until smooth.<br />
5. Add the remaining flour and knead.<br />
6. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.<br />
7. Put a little oil in a bowl and put the dough inside the bowl.<br />
8. Coat the dough with oil and let it rise in a warm place until double in volume. Cover with damp cloth.<br />
9. Heat brown sugar and add butter.<br />
10. Remove from heat and add corn syrup.<br />
11. Divide the mixture between two baking pans of 9 by 3 inches.<br />
12. Add a layer of half cup pecans in each pan.<br />
13. When the dough is double, turn it on a floured surface.<br />
14. Roll out the dough into rectangular shape.spread with butter and cinnamon.<br />
15. Roll the dough into a log starting from the long side.<br />
16. Cut one inch wide rolls and place in the pans.<br />
17. Wrap with aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for 12 hours.<br />
18. Remove from the refrigerator and keep in a warm place for half an hour.<br />
19. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until golden.<br />
20. Turn the rolls on the heat proof dish.</p>
